Gokyo Chola-EBC Trek

Gokyo Chola Pass,  Everest Base Camp trek also called Everest Circuit Trekking. After visiting great Namche Bazar(3440m), Khumjung Valley then heading to Gokyo region and after great view of Gokyo Ri. We will cross challenging Chola-Pass(5400m) then we will arrive Dzongla (4,843 m) after 8-9 hours walking. Then we heading for Everest Base Camp & Kalapathar 5545m.

This wonderful trekking starts from adventures airstrip from Kathmandu- Lukla 35 minutes flight and ending at Lukla then back to scenic mountain flight to Kathmandu. This trekking gives so many adventures which are real trekker looking for it, hike to Gokyo Ri(5360m), Cross pass(5400m), Everest Base camp(5362m), Kalapathar(5545m) is Challenging part of this trekking. It offers also gorgeous mountains view of Excellent View of Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam (6856m), Kantega (6809m), Kwangde (6194m), Nuptse (7879m), Lhotse (8511m) and much more beautiful mountains. Gokyo valley lies in the direction of the west of the Khumbu area. in this serene valley, there are abundant pastures for yaks to graze for the duration of summer and the pristine turquoise lakes are breathtaking. Gokyo may be visited after trekking as much as Everest Base Camp by including any other five days to the itinerary.  If Gokyo is the primary vacation spot, then the trek goes up the Everest path best as far because the teahouses at Kenjoma (in which the trail from Khumjung joins the primary trail). From this factor, the trail leads up closer to Mong la. skip earlier than dropping steeply back off to the banks of the Dudh Koshi River. The final path up to Gokyo goes past teahouses at Pangkha and up the terminal moraine of the Ngozumpa glacier, which is the most important glacier within the u . s .. subsequently, simply above the moraine you see the crystal clean waters of the primary of the glacial lakes for which Gokyo valley is renowned.  From Gokyo, the 8-thousander Cho Oyu (eight,153m) is seen toward the north. there are many excellent views around the valley. The maximum famous of them is seen by means of ascending a ridge for two-three hours to the north-west to reach a small summit. From right here the view is a stupendous landscape extending from Cho Oyu and Everest, to Lhotse, and all of the way to Makalu. This view is arguably better than the one above Gorak Shep.
There are two high passes leading out of the Gokyo valley, the Cho la bypass being the most traveled, connecting with the Khumbu valley close to Lobuche while the other is Renjo la bypass that joins the trail between Thame and Nangpa l. a. skip. Following the Everest trek course one takes the opportunity go out route as some distance as Phortse.  From right here stroll alongside the japanese side of the valley via the village of Konar. There are no facilities to be had in this aspect of the valley until the small teahouses at Nah, a six hours trek from Phortse. Nah is a superb place for camping, but for proper lodging you need to walk any other 4 hours to attain Pangkha. From right here follow the course defined formerly.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport.

Arrival in Kathmandu pick up and Transfer to the Hotel. Over night at Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 2 Kathmandu:

Meeting with Guide and Office staff for the final preparation. Over night at Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 3 Kathmandu- Lukla (2840m/9320ft)–Trek to Phakding (2610m/8560ft)–3-4 hrs.

Early in the morning transfer to the airport for Scenic flight to Tenzing-Hillary Airport Luckla, where we begin our trek into the Khumbu region. During the flight you will have good chance to view excellent or Gorgeous Mountain’s panorama view. Arrival at Luckla our Guide briefs you & introduce our porter before we begin our trek.
After landing we have time to explore the village while our Staff crew sort and load our trekking equipment. Then we begin our trek by descending towards the Dudh Kosi( Dudh means is Milk, the water of this river is looks like milk) River where we join the main trail to Namche Bazaar, located just above Chaunrikharka (2713m). It is easy walking day, after passing the small village of Ghat (2550m) it is a short walk to Phakding. Overnight at tea-house.

Day 4 Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m/11290ft) – Approx.6

After breakfast We continue trekking along the banks of the Dudh Kosi, crossing this majestic river many times on exciting suspension bridges laden with prayer flags.
After entering Sagamartha National Park at Jorsale. We will have lunch at Jorsale, after Lunch the trail climbs difficult steeply with breathtaking views. Please takes lots of break during the climbs we have no hurry to arrive at a Namche. Namche is one of the biggest villages along the whole Everest trail. Namche Bazaar known as the Gateway to Everest. Overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 5 Namche Bazaar Acclimatization day. Rest Day

After breakfast we almost ready to start our hiking Day. We climb steeply out of Namche to the Everest View Hotel via Syangboche Airport. Built by the Japanese management this spectacularly situated hotel with wonderful Panorama views of Mt.Everest( 8848m), Tawache, Lhotse, Nuptse, Thamserku, and Ama Dablam is an good place to have hot drinks with Gorgeous view. After tea continuing, we trek to the villages of Khumjung set below Khumbila, the rocky peak sacred to all Sherpas. In Khumjumg we can visit the Edmund Hillary Hospital School & Monastery. After spending some time we back to Namche Bazaar. Over night at Namche Bazaar.

Day 6 Namche Bazaar to Dole (4200m) – Approx.6 Hours

After breakfast we ready to start trek for another day, first morning we have easy walk then slowly up then down to Phortse Tenga 3,440 m- then finally we arrived dole. Over night Dole

Day 7 Dole- Machhermo 4,440 m.

Dole- Machhermo 4,440 m. After breakfast at Dole slowly trek to Machhermo. Over night at Machhermo. 3-4 hours.

Day 8 Machhermo- Gokyo.(4750m)

Machhermo- Gokyo.(4750m) After breakfast at Machhermo slowly we trek to Gokyo with beautiful lakes view. 3-4 hours.

Day 9 Day Hike Excursion

Early morning hike to Gokyo ri(5360m). This is important part for acclimatization start slowly, before start discuss with guide, our guide will brief you everything. After spending some time in Gokyo Ri with beautiful view of Everest and another mountain. You will feel you are in different world. Then back to Gokyo slowly. Over night at Gokyo.3-4 hr

Day 10 Gokyo to Thanga(4700m).

Gokyo to Thanga(4700m). After breakfast going to go for mission chola pass. Today is important day for short day. Can start earlier than later. Thanga is small place with very much basic tea house with basic foods. Over night at Thanga. 3 hours.

Day 11 Thanga- Cholapass (5400m)- Dzongla(4843m).

Thanga- Cholapass (5400m)- Dzongla(4843m). Early morning we will have breakfast, then we start our great mission Chola pass follow guide instruction and going up walk slow and steady

Day 12 Dzongla- Lobuche(4910m).

Dzongla- Lobuche(4910m).After crossing Chola you will feel good, so slowly we trek to Lobuche with surrounding mountains views. Over night at Lobuche. 5 hours.

Day 13 Lobuche - Gorakshep -Everest Base Camp (5360m)

Lobuche - Gorakshep -Everest Base Camp (5360m) 7-8 hrs. This is important day for your Everest Base Camp trek; because we are going there it is difficult walk stony walk over Khumbu Glacier. From Gorakshep to EBC it takes 3 hrs. Once you arrive EBC you will amazing Khmbu Ice fall. After spending some good time there we have to back to Gorakshek before Dark.

Day 14 Gorakshep- Kalapathar(5545m)- Pheriche(4200m)

This is also important part of Trekking. Early morning Hike to Kalapathhar(5545m) it takes two hours slowly. It is tough hike so start slowly. It will be freezing cold and sometime so freezing windy. Once we reach top of Kalapathar we will see best view of Mt. Everest and other gorgeous Mountains, after spending some time and walk back to Gorakshep. After breakfast downhill to Pheriche.

Day 15 Pheriche((4200m) - Tengboche.

After breakfast walk to Pangboche-Tengboche. 4 Hours Walking. Over night at Tengboche.

Day 16 Tengboche -Namche(2850m)

Tengboche -Namche(2850m)5- hrs Trekking. Walk down hill through Rhododendron trees and cross the river and hike up for an hour and half then easy walking to Namche Bazaar.

Day 17 Namche: Luckla: Trek to Luckla.

Namche: Luckla: Trek to Luckla. Last day of Trekking. Slowly after breakfast walk down and then up to Luckla. Over night at Luckla 6-7 hours.

Day 18 Luckla- Flight to Kathmandu.

Luckla- Flight to Kathmandu. Early morning flight to Kathmandu. If weather good we will be in Kathmandu in time.
Arriving Kathmandu airport and transfer to Hotel. After trekking your feet wants to rest. Evening dinner in Nepali restaurant or another day you can decide.

Day 19 Kathmandu free day

Kathmandu. Over night at Kathmandu ( Can plan some tours) Bad weather reserve day

Day 20 Departure

Drive to international airport.
